Many international students from the Pacific study at the university of Technology as well. The Unitech is best known for its engineering courses that are offered. Admission Requirements 

Students must have good GPA in the subjects studied at Grade 12 level. 

For Courses in Agriculture , Business Studies, Accounting, Economics, Arts Communication, Business Managements student must have 
B Grades or above  in English, Mathematics B or Mathematics A, Business Studies, Accounting , Agriculture  with GPA of 2.8 and above. 



For Engineering Courses, students must have atleast
B Grade or above in , English, Advance Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry , Physics, Applied Science , Geology, ICT and GPA of 3 and above. 

Apply to  Study at PNG University of Technology 

The Application process to study at PNG University of Technology falls into three categories

1. School Leavers
2. Non-School Leavers
3. Post Graduate studies

• School Leavers.

If you are currently doing Grade 12 in PNG , you are considered as school leaver  and you will fill out School leaver Forms manually and online. This process is facilitated by the department of  Higher Education-DHERST. You will be selected to Unitech if you do well in your Grade 12 examination and meet the above requirements. Note that this process is not applicable to international students as it is for domestic students, however, international students studying in upper secondary schools may be considered for selection. 

• Non School leavers.

This group refers to those students who are not current grade 12s. This may be students who left school earlier or coming to the FODE system schools. International Students fall under this category.  Unlike the schools leavers, non-school leavers must fill out the non school leaver application form and send it to the university for selection. • Post Graduate
