Holy Trinity Teachers College is located in  Mt Hagen, the Papua New Guinea’s third largest city in the Highlands Region. The College is run by the Catholic Church.  It has a student population of about 800 and teaching staff of 50. Over 30 are support staff.

Course Program : The College offers Diploma in Primary Teaching. The programme runs for three (3)  years.
The College is an amalgamation to the Divine Word University DWU in Madang.

School Leavers : The Enrollment for School leavers is through the Grade 12 School Leaver form. Every student who wishes to study at the Holy Trinity Teachers colleges must fill the School Leaver Form (SLF). This applies to current Grade 12 students. All you need to do is apply through the National Online Application System NOAS which is facilitated by the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST).  Holy Trinity Teachers College  does not do selections in this category. The Acceptance List for Holy Trinity Teachers College is usually released by the DHERST in December Annually. 

Requirements for Enrollment at Holy Trinity Teachers College :  The minimum requirement to study at Holy Trinity Teachers college  is Grade 12. This means, a GPA of 2.4 or above is required. At least B in English and Mathematics and C in other subjects.  

Non-School Leavers : Those who are applying not through the normal School Leaver Form are called the Non-School Leavers. These are students who have upgraded their marks or those who pursued other careers but want to join the teaching force. The Non –School Leavers forms are issued by the College. All you need to do is write to the college (see address below) and ask  for a school leaver form. Those within the city can go to the college and get the forms. 

You need to fill the form and send it to the college. Selections are done by the National Department of Education in Port Moresby.
