How to take IELTS for Scholarship Applications 

Almost all scholarships  available around the world require IELTS as one of the requisites. However, Scholars from English speaking nations may be exempted from taking the test. Before we look at the processes of taking a IELTS, lets  look at what IELTS is?

What is IELTS?

IELTS is  the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.

IELTS is recognized by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. It is also recognised by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies.

Where to get IELTS

IELTS is jointly managed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP: IELTS Australia. IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment. Usually, IELTS services  are available in all the countries. Make sure to check out  schools or organisations in your country  that are affiliated to provide the IELTS service.  You can also do IELTS online, simply search for genuine websites that provide the service. How to apply 
Before taking the IELTS, you must prepare well. This is because the scholarship providers will require certain  requirements on your  IELTS results. If you fail to meet that requirements with your IELTS result, you scholarship application may not be successful.

1. First find a IELTS provider in your country
2.. Pay their fees and register
3. Take the IELTS.
