Tonga College is located in the heart of Nuku'alofa the capital of the Kingdom of Tonga. The college is run by the Tongan Government and it has a boarding status.  The college has vision, mission and values. The college caters for forms 1 - 7 and offers different course subjects to forms. ​

​Every student should complete all course work requirements together with an excellent passing in the two examinations during the academic year. Each student should have at least 50% in order to be transferred to the next level. Those students who do not meet these requirements will either be required to repeat the level or be transferred. 
For forms 5, 6 and 7, every student should satisfy the Internal Assessment requirements for Tonga School Certificate (TSC), Tonga Form Six Certificate (TFSC) and Tonga National Form Seven Certificate (TNFSC). Failure to do so may lead to their exclusion from sitting these examinations or future placement at the school.
