The Zerofees English Scholarships are available which  help students improve their academic English language skills, assisting them to gain the English language entry requirements to move to a mainstream programme of their choice. This scholarship is available in Far East Asia, South America and certain European countries. 

​The Southern Institute of Technology SIT is building on our ground-breaking English Language programme by offering unique scholarships that make quality education even more affordable.

You can gain a 26 Week English Scholarship when you enrol in a one year or longer mainstream programme with SIT.  That means you can study English for up to 26 weeks at no additional tuition cost! 

SIT’s 26 Week English Scholarship is the perfect way to improve your English while getting ready for academic study. 

Students are eligible for the 26 Week English Scholarship when you enrol in a mainstream programme (a certificate, diploma, degree, graduate diploma or postgraduate diploma programme) of one year or longer full-time duration (“a mainstream programme”).

Students intending to undertake the 26 Week English Scholarship must provide an upfront payment of NZ $9,000 for the introductory English language programme. If students meet the English entry requirements and are accepted into a mainstream programme of at least one year full-time duration, the upfront payment will be credited against the tuition fees for that mainstream programme. Students are required to pay the remaining tuition fee balance and any applicable resource fee for the mainstream programme.
