​Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provides undergraduate scholarships to recognise student academic achievement and contribution to school and community. As well as recognising academic achievement, these scholarships also recognise potential leadership ability and contribution to the school, community or cultural pursuits or sport at a representative level.

The Scholarships fall under two categories.  Students can check their eligibility and apply for these categories

1. AUT Find Your Greatness Scholarships

AUT Find Your Greatness Scholarships are available under the categories below, applicants are encouraged to apply for all categories for which they are eligible.

• Academic Excellence: High academic achievement.
• All Rounder: Contribution at a high level to the school or community. Applicants under this category must hold leadership positions and/or be active in cultural pursuits or sport at a representative level.
• Kiwa: Māori and Pacific students demonstrating all-round ability and leadership potential. Applicants applying under this category must declare that they are of Māori or Pacific descent and declare this ethnicity when applying for admission to AUT.
• Hiki Ake (Lift Up): Students demonstrating academic potential but are experiencing financial hardship or have been disadvantaged due to personal circumstances, making it difficult to undertake tertiary study.

2. ​AUT Welcome to Auckland Scholarships
AUT Welcome to Auckland Scholarships are available to high achieving secondary school students living out of Auckland intending to enrol in bachelor’s degree study at AUT in Semester One of the year following application.

• AUT Find Your Greatness Scholarships

An award of up to $23,800 over three years (120 points per year) in a bachelor’s degree programme at AUT (value is subject to the choice made by the recipient in First Year). 

• AUT Welcome to Auckland Scholarships

An award of up to $23,800 over three years to support full-time study (120 points per year) in a bachelor’s degree programme at AUT

Tenure : 3 years of scholarships awarded
