Scholarship Description
The University of Sydney Business School is offering multiple Enhanced Business School Research Scholarships to support outstanding PhD or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) students across the University of Sydney Business School’s 10 Disciplines. The Business School is looking for exceptional PhD candidates in all business research areas to start in August 2022. To be eligible for the position, applicants must have a Bachelor’s (Hons) or Masters (~80%) degree, excellent academic qualifications, and some research experience.

Field of Study : Business 
PhD candidates at the University of Sydney Business School may undertake supervised research with one of the following disciplines or research centres within the school:

• Discipline of Accounting
• Discipline of Business Analytics
• Discipline of Business Information Systems
• Discipline of Business Law
• Discipline of Finance
• Discipline of International Business
• Discipline of Marketing
• Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
• Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies
• Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies.

Scholarship benefits
Successful course applicants will be considered for 3.5-year scholarships, with a possibility to extend to 4 years subject to approval, that covers full tuition fees ($50,000 per year for international students) and provides a generous stipend of $35,000+ per year for living costs. In addition to this stipend, scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to receive at least $10,000 per year in return for carrying out specific teaching duties. Details of these teaching duties will be given at the time of the scholarship offer.

English language proficiency
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
