International PhD Stipend Scholarships At USQ, Australia

• Scholarship Program 

These Scholarships are available for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

• Area of Study

In any field offered by the University 

• Scholarship benefits

1. Stipend (living allowance),valued at $30,000 per annum, tax free.
2. The maximum period of the award is three years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the program will be deducted from the period of tenure.

• Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

1. have completed a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours, or equivalent level;
2. be eligible to be enrolled full-time on-campus in the PhD program at USQ; 
3. must have applied for enrolment, or currently enrolled in the PhD at USQ;
4. be an international student, not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident;
5. not have previously held an Australian Government funded higher degree by research scholarship;
6. not be a sponsored student receiving similar funding from their Government, or other organisations;
7. commence the program in 2021.

• Selection criteria

Applicants will be assessed on:

1. alignment with the University's research priority areas;
2. academic merit, previous research outputs and research experience of the applicant;
3. research track record of the proposed supervisory team;
4. quality of the research proposal.

•  Education qualifications (testamur and academic transcripts for all undergraduate and postgraduate awards);
•  List of any research presentations and/or publications
• Documentation confirming citizenship.

Application must be made via the USQ Scholarship Application Management System by the closing date.
