Study at the Curtin University in Australia. The Curtin University is offering scholarships to international students. The Curtin International Scholarships continue Curtin’s proud tradition of supporting students around the world to realise their potential.

The scholarships are open to:

• future students seeking to study a Curtin bachelor or master by coursework degree and
• current Curtin students intending to move to a new course of study after completing their current course (bachelor to master, for example)

Types of International Scholarships at Curtin University 

1. Access Support Scholarship
This scholarship is available for students who meet the following requirements: 
Students must be international, fee paying student; Not financially supported by any government sponsor.; Must be commencing studies in Semester 1, 2021 studies online outside Western Australia due to border closure and associated travel restrictions; A recipient of either a Curtin International Merit, Curtin International Alumni & Family or Curtin International Australian Year 12 Scholarship.

2. Starter Support Scholarship
This scholarship category awards any student commencing in semester 1 2021 who are unable to travel to Western Australia due to border and/or travel restrictions. Students enrolled in a full time course load (100 Credit points) in Semester 1 2021, will receive AUD$5000 fee remission. Students that are enrolled in less than 100 credit points will be eligible to receive a pro-rated amount equivalent to one of the following:

• Enrolled in 2 units (50 Credit points) AUD$2000 reduction
• Enrolled in 3 units (75 Credit points) AUD$3750 reduction
• Enrolled in 4 units (100 Credit points) AUD$5000 reduction

3. Destination Australia Scholarship
The Destination Australia Scholarship has been developed by the Australian Government to encourage students to study in regional Australia whist receiving a high quality learning experience. The scholarship is available to mining and metallurgy students who will be completing their full degree at the Curtin Kalgoorlie campus. 

Whilst studying at Curtin Kalgoorlie, students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and build industry networks. The Kalgoorlie campus also provides access to modern accommodation, a gym, outdoor recreation spaces and a thriving student social club.

4. Alumni and Family Scholarship
Curtin University has an expanding alumni community and is pleased to offer the Alumni & Family Scholarship to any nationality except Australian. 
This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% off their first year of tuition. Curtin University acknowledges the importance of this group in growing the University and this scholarship aims to foster trust and confidence in Curtin University as a place for students to further their studies, careers and life experiences.

5. Merit Scholarship
Curtin University strives to give high achieving students around the world the opportunity to pursue their ambitions and gain a world-class education. Through the Merit scholarship, Curtin welcomes eligible students who have citizenship in any country other than Australia.

This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% off their first year of tuition. Curtin University acknowledges the importance of being one of Australia's most multicultural university campuses and this scholarship aims to grow the trust and confidence in Curtin University as a place for students to further their studies, careers and life experiences.

6.  Australian Year 12 Scholarship

Curtin University understands there is a growing body of international students around the world studying for an Australian high school certificate. In support of this cohort, this scholarship aims to assist international students of any nationality except Australian, who successfully complete an Australian high school qualification either in Australia or overseas. Curtin offers an extensive range of undergraduate programs and this scholarship will help these students to pursue their dreams and continue their education association with Australia.

7 . Diplomatic Scholarships
Australia is a nation of growing regional and global importance, which comes with growth in foreign and diplomatic ties. Perth continues to grow and attract foreign investment, bringing with it growth in consular and diplomatic activities. Through this scholarship, Curtin University provides eligible students of any citizenship (except Australian), either in Australia or coming to Australia on a visa subclass of 995, an opportunity to pursue a world-class education. This scholarship awards eligible international students 25% off the tuition fees for the first year of the course. This scholarship aims to foster trust and confidence in Curtin University as a place for students to further their studies, careers and life experiences.
