The Chevening programme makes awards to gifted people who clearly demonstrate the potential to become future leaders, decision-makers and opinion formers. The Scholarships are awarded in different fields including politics, government, business, the media, the environment, civil society, religion, and academia.

Covers a monthly living allowance, university tuition fees, an economy class return airfare to the UK, including additional grants and allowances to take care of essential expenditure.
To be eligible for a British Chevening Scholarships you must:
• Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country.
• Go back to your home country for a minimum of 2 years after your scholarship has ended
• must be a holder of an undergraduate degree that can enable you to obtain entry to a post-graduate programme at a UK university.
This is generally comparable to an upper seconds class 2:1 degree in the United Kingdom
• Have at least two years’ work experience
• Apply to 3 different licensed UK university courses and have gotten an unconditional offer from one of these choices.
• Meet the Chevening English language requirement either by taking an English language test or claiming an exemption based on the UKVI exempt categories
