​The Overseas Koreans Scholarship offers a valuable opportunity for overseas Korean students who aspire to pursue graduate studies at Seoul National University (SNU). • Financial Benefits

The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to successful candidates. It includes a full tuition exemption for up to four semesters, contingent on the student meeting the program's conditions.

• Living Allowance and Other Subsidies

Selected scholars will receive a monthly living allowance of 900,000 KRW for a maximum of four semesters. This is intended to assist students in covering their living expenses while studying in South Korea.

• Airfare Assistance

In addition to tuition and living expenses, the scholarship covers airfare costs for one round-trip economy ticket. This ensures scholars can travel to and from South Korea without financial strain.

• Korean Language Training

Scholars will also benefit from free Korean language training. This fee exemption applies to a six-month course at SNU’s Language Education Institute, enabling students to adapt to their new academic and cultural environment.

• Medical Insurance Provision

Another essential component of the scholarship is medical insurance coverage. Students will be enrolled in a private insurance plan, ensuring they have access to necessary healthcare services during their studies.
