​The Clarendon Scholarships at Oxford University are open to applicants across all subject areas for new Master's or DPhil courses. To be considered for this prestigious award, you must apply by the December or January admissions deadline pertinent to your course.

Value of the Scholarship:
The Clarendon Scholarships cover full course fees for both Home and Overseas fee status students. In addition, scholars enrolled in a full-time course receive an annual living expenses grant, which meets or exceeds the UKRI minimum doctoral stipend rate. over  £18,000

Eligibility:
There are no restrictions based on nationality or country of ordinary residence. Clarendon Scholars hail from around the globe, including countries such as the USA, Australia, Venezuela, Vietnam, Norway, and Nigeria. All full-time DPhil and Master’s courses are eligible, provided you apply by the relevant December or January deadline. Duration:
The scholarship is generally awarded for the duration of the fee liability period for your course. This period is defined as the time you are responsible for paying course fees to the University. Further information on fee liability and continuation charges, which are not covered by the Clarendon Fund, can be found on the fee liability page. In some cases, the scholarship may extend beyond the fee liability period, with funding for living expenses only. Continuation charges during this additional period are not covered.

Application Process:
To be considered for a Clarendon Scholarship, you must submit your graduate application by the relevant December or January deadline. Other Criteria:
The scholarship is available to candidates starting a new DPhil or Master’s course at Oxford. This includes students currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Oxford who are re-applying for a DPhil or applying for a second Master’s course. However, applicants with a deferred graduate offer or current students continuing the same degree at Oxford are not eligible.
