The PNG Defence Force has taken measures to improve the recruitment process and procedures. The PNGDF Recruitment Office will NO longer accept hand-delivered or postal mail applications.
All applications will now be online, through a link that will be announced in print media soon.

Application Requirements
Interested applicants must prepare the following documents:

• Letter of Interest
• Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Copies of Certificates (Educational and other relevant certificates)
• Valid Identification (Any one of the following):
• National Identification (NID)
• Driver’s License
• Passport
• Work ID
• Student ID from recognized tertiary institution
• Birth Certificate
• Recent Police Clearance
• Recent Valid Medical Certificate
• Three (3) Character References

🔔 Important:
All documents must be combined in the listed order into ONE (1) PDF file and uploaded through the provided online link after completing a questionnaire.

Entry Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions.
You must not apply if you do not meet the criteria:

1. Must be aged between 18–25 years.
2.  Must have Grade C or higher academic grades.
3.  Must be single.
4.  Must have a minimum height of 170 cm.
5.  Must be free from harmful drugs and free from deformities or serious medical conditions, including:

• CHS (Cobra Head Syndrome or Penile injection and modification)
• HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B
• Hypertension (High blood pressure), Low blood and sugar levels
• Missing limbs (especially fingers and eyes), Vision defects, Obesity, Pregnancy, and other disabilities. f. Must be a Papua New Guinea citizen.

 If selected after answering the questionnaire, applicants must be prepared for further screening, which will include:

• Literacy Testing
• Strict Medical Testing
• Psychometric Testing
• Interview
• Fitness Test
