University of Calgary International Entrance Awards for Undergraduate program in Canada

The University of Calgary in Canada  is offering International Entrance Scholarships and Awards. Scholarships and Awards are available for students entering first year in an undergraduate degree programme.

The University of Calgary is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary started in 1944 as the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908, prior to being instituted into a separate, autonomous university in 1966.

All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language.

Course Level: Scholarships and Awards are available for students entering first year in an undergraduate degree programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships and Awards are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarships Awards

Two scholarships valued at $15,000 each, renewable for three more years at $15,000 per year available for international students entering first year in an undergraduate degree program in the fall term.

Eligibility

  • Offered annually to undergraduate international students entering first year in any undergraduate degree program in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the English Language Proficiency. Students entering The International Foundations Program are not eligible
  • International students who are required to pay a differential fee and who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada
  • Academic merit
  • In the event there are no eligible entering students, awards may be offered to continuing undergraduate international students.

Application Procedure
Application for this scholarship is not required. Students are considered automatically for these scholarships and awards by the Student Awards Office in consultation with the Recruitment and Admissions Office.  Selection is based on the admission average to the University of Calgary.
How to apply for International students
1. Apply formally to study at the University as normal international student. 
2. You will automatically qualify for this scholarship after enrolment, provided that you meet the requirements stated above.
